Chairman back in Uniform!

This week, the chairman of the Staple Hill and District branch of the Royal British Legion has rejoined the Royal Air Force.

Ian Campbell who has been chairman of the local legion branch since 2019 left his role with the RAF to focus on his recovery when he was diagnosed with cancer. Since that time he has been determined to get back into uniform and progress his career with the media reserves.

Ian said ''Ever since I left I have been focused on going back. I am grateful the RAF saw fit to reinstate me and I can't wait to get back out there and prove that cancer didn't beat me!''
