Members and supporters travelled to London over the weekend to attend the Royal British Legion's annual Festival of remembrance. The sold out event takes place at the Royal Albert Hall and is organised to remember the sacrifices of past generations as well as thanking those currently serving.
This year there were special tributes to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and for the Falklands 40th anniversary. A memorable moment was when a young woman read the final letter her father sent from HMS Coventry before it was sunk.
There were fantastic performances from Luke Evans, Hannah Waddingham with the RAF Squadronaires, Andrea, Matteo and Virginia Bocelli and many others.
If you would like to join the branch at the Royal Albert Hall in 2023, please consider becoming a member in order to get access to early tickets.
